Binford Dr. Investigation

Huntsville Police and The U.S. Marshalls announce the capture of 28 yr. old Charles Anthony Mosby. He was located and detained in New Orleans, LA on March 6th. Mosby became a suspect during the investigation of a robbery-homicide on Binford Dr. Jan 28th, 2018. In that incident the victim, Raemon Ross, was found in the residence with gunshot wounds. Upon officers arrival the victim was still alive and gave responding officers information about the incident before being transported to the hospital and later passing away. As the investigation progressed it was determined that two suspects had knocked on the victim’s door with the intent of a home invasion robbery. A shooting ensued and the victim was hit multiple times. Both suspects fled to include Mosby. Investigators indicate the investigation is not over as there will be more arrests expected. The photo attached is a Jan 25th, 2018 booking photo from a separate arrest. Mosby is being processed for extradition at this time from the Jefferson Parrish LA Sheriff’s Office and is expected to be in our jurisdiction in the next two weeks.
