Bring Home a Furry Friend for Valentine’s

Published on February 5, 2021

Huntsville, AL – Huntsville Animal Services (HAS) is asking citizens to open their hearts and bring home a furry friend for Valentine’s Day.

From now through Saturday, February 13, all adult dogs are available for adoption for only $10 to $35 each. The fee includes the same amenities as the regular adoption package – shots, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, a City license and a free bag of dog food.

If you’re unable to adopt a pet now, consider fostering an animal through the Shelter’s Foster-to-Adopt Program or for a weekend “sleepover.”

HAS is located at 4950 Triana Boulevard in Huntsville. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
