Weekend Fires on Cavalry Street

Huntsville Firefighters responded to three fires on Cavalry Street this weekend. The properties involved were 1412 Cavalry Street and 1418 Cavalry Street. All three fires have been ruled incendiary. This is information on two house fires that occurred in the city of Huntsville yesterday. The first fire was at 13925 Wyandotte Drive. Upon arrival, fire units reported smoke coming from the house. Last night around 10:30 P.M., dispatched fire units responded to a business fire located at 103 Washington Street (Humphrey’s Bar and Grill). There was a fire in the kitchen area where it spread to an upper floor and roof. A rapid and well-coordinated attack reduced the damage by the fire.
