Restore Our Roads

Council approved $778,133.14 to purchase the final piece of right-of-way for a new access road from Highway 72 East to Moores Mill Road industrial area to aid large truck deliveries.

Infrastructure
Reed Contracting was the low bidder on a $3,039,406.42 public infrastructure annual maintenance contract. Reed will provide infrastructure repairs as needed throughout the City limits.

Board Appointments
Drew Tutt – appointed to the Industrial Development Board of the City of Huntsville for a term to expire May 27, 2023. (Tutt nominated by Jennie Robinson)

Mimi Pothoff and Harvey Cotton reappointed to the Tree Commission for a term to expire October 8, 2017. (Appointed by Mayor Tommy Battle)
