City of Huntsville, DHI reveal Jazz in the Park 2026 lineup

(DHI) announced this year’s Jazz in the Park lineup, showcasing the talent and diversity that have made the series a cornerstone of Huntsville’s musical identity.

Held each Sunday in September from 5-9 p.m. in Big Spring Park, the free concert series continues its tradition of bringing world‑class jazz talent, vibrant community energy and diverse musical expression to the heart of Huntsville.

This year’s lineup includes a dynamic mix of national recording artists, rising regional performers and standout local acts.

“Every year, this series brings world class talent and thousands of residents together in Big Spring Park,” Mayor Tommy Battle said. “It’s an event that reflects the heart of our city. Jazz in the Park continues to grow because Huntsville embraces the arts and invests in experiences that bring people together.”

DHI CEO Ron Poteat said Jazz in the Park is a signature event for our city and DHI.

“We are excited to welcome the great sounds, sights, food and fun to Big Spring Park again in 2026,” Poteat said.

The City’s Multicultural Affairs Director Dr. Randy Barbour, Jr., said the series reflects the cultural mission of his department.

“Jazz is a musical expression born of resilience, innovation and cultural fusion — and when our community gathers to experience it together, we’re sharing in something deeply meaningful,” Barbour said. “This series gives us the chance to celebrate heritage, creativity and unity in one of Huntsville’s most iconic public spaces.”

At the announcement, Cynthia Joiner of Cynthia Joiner Real Estate Group presented a $15,000 check to DHI to support Jazz in the Park.

The concerts also coincide with Huntsville Music Month, a citywide celebration of a growing music ecosystem. Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella said Jazz in the Park plays an essential role in that momentum.

“Jazz in the Park strengthens Huntsville’s musical identity,” Mandrella said. “It brings top-tier talent to Big Spring Park and creates a high-quality, family-friendly experience that elevates Huntsville as a destination for live music.”

Jazz in the Park is free to attend. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and enjoy an evening of world‑class music, local food trucks and community connection under the open sky.
