Enforcement of hands-free ordinance begins

The City’s hands-free ordinance strives to make roads safer by prohibiting the handling of wireless communication devices while driving with the aim to eliminate distracted driver accidents. Following a six-month education period, the City began enforcing the ordinance on July 1. Read more about the ordinance here.
