Whether you prefer classic colors or inflatables, residents are encouraged to make spirits bright by going all out for the season. The contest is open to District 1 residents only.

Council Member Devyn Keith is organizing Deck the District, which includes prizes for first, second and third-place entries, as well as bragging rights. The top-three winners will receive acknowledgement at the Dec. 21 Huntsville City Council meeting.

“One of the best parts of the holiday season is seeing how people decorate their homes,” Council Member Keith said. “This is a fun way for people to show pride in their community while spreading a little cheer.”

Entering the contest is easy – complete the online entry form and attach photos of your home by Thursday, Dec. 14. Properties will be judged Dec. 15-18.
