HPD Arrest

Huntsville Police have arrested 22 yr old Demetrius Deshawn Childs for the shooting death of Devonte Lashun Bone. Childs is charged with Capital Murder, Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle and Assault 2nd. He turned himself in to Huntsville Police at 8pm tonight. The shooting was the result of an ongoing dispute between Childs and Bone for several weeks. Childs saw Bone at the Westlake Apartments on March 15th around 10pm and began shooting into the vehicle killing Bone and injuring a passenger.
