Huntsville Police Department’s (HPD) North Precinct invites the community to come back to Normal for the return of its annual block party on Saturday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the HPD North Precinct, 4014 North Memorial Parkway, adjacent to Alabama A&M University.
Get ready for a fun family day filled with free food and chances to win bicycles and other prizes. A DJ will spin tunes while children enjoy inflatables and outdoor games.
“This year’s block party will mark the first since 2019 due to the COVID pandemic,” HPD Captain Tony McElyea said. “We couldn’t be more excited to reconnect with the community.”
Anyone wishing to attend the block party must park at the Alabama A&M Events Center, 4200 Memorial Parkway NW. This parking lot can be accessed from Stallworth Road, just north of HPD’s North Precinct. Shuttle service will be available for those who need it.
