Day for Dads + Car Show is Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at S.R. Butler Green at Campus No. 805. This free event offers a fun-filled day for dads to unwind and enjoy quality time with their families, just ahead of Father’s Day on Sunday, June 16.

“This is a fantastic way to celebrate fathers in our community,” said Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett. “It’s also an opportunity for our residents to enjoy a day of free family fun.”

The event features a variety of activities and competitions designed to entertain and engage even the sternest dads. The highlight will be an impressive car show, showcasing a range of classic and custom vehicles. Sports enthusiasts can participate in the Rocket City Dad sports competition, while the Beard N’ Stache competition is perfect for dads who are proud of their facial hair.

The event will host numerous exhibitors and provide exciting giveaways throughout the day. Food trucks will also be on-site with concessions available for purchase.
