Huntsville Police seek the public’s help in finding missing man

The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) is asking for the community’s assistance in locating Lazarus Howard III, 25, of Madison, who was reported missing on Saturday, July 19.

Investigators say Howard last spoke briefly with his mother on Thursday, July 10. Since then, there have been no confirmed sightings or contact. Over the past month, investigators have found no evidence that he has returned home on Lawsons Ridge Drive and no clear leads on his whereabouts.

Howard does not have a registered vehicle in his name or one he commonly uses, making it more challenging to track his movements.

After speaking with Howard’s family members, investigators believe he may have connections to Central Alabama, specifically the Selma area.

Anyone with information about Mr. Howard’s location or well-being, no matter how small, is urged to contact the HPD Investigator Brett McCulley at 256-746-4133.
