Jazz in the Park-Huntsville moving to UAH for Sunday performances
Published on September 12, 2024
Due to the possibility of inclement weather this weekend, Sunday’s installment of Jazz in the Park-Huntsville will relocate from Big Spring Park East to Spragins Hall on the University of Alabama in Huntsville campus.
The venue change ensures the event will proceed as planned while providing a comfortable environment for attendees.
“We appreciate our partners at UAH for working with us to quickly accommodate Sunday’s installment,” said Kenny Anderson, Director of the City’s Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. “We look forward to a fantastic evening of smooth jazz music and appreciate the community’s understanding and flexibility.”
Spragins Hall offers ample bleacher-style seating, so there is no need to bring lawn chairs. The updated schedule features an exciting lineup of performances. The evening will commence with a pre-opening act by Nina Marie at 5 p.m., followed by Tony & The Kings at 6 p.m. Headliner JJ Sansaverino will take the stage at 7:30 p.m.
