Murder Arrest

The Huntsville Police Department arrested thirty eight year old Inez Fuqua for Murder Domestic Violence-Gun.

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at 8 Cypress Point Drive around 6:00 PM on April 10, 2021. Officers arrived and found Inez Fuqua outside sitting on the curb.  Officers made contact with Mrs. Fuqua and she advised that Christopher Fuqua thirty three years old was in the house.

Officers checked the residence and found Mr. Fuqua in a room unresponsive and bleeding from a gunshot wound. HEMSI responded and the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

It appears Inez Fuqua and her husband got into a domestic altercation that ended with Mr. Fuqua being shot.

Inez Fuqua was transported to Criminal Investigation Division where she was interviewed by Major Crime Investigators. Inez Fuqua was subsequently charged with Murder Domestic Violence-Gun and booked into the Madison County Jail. The investigation is currently ongoing.
