Oakwood Road Death Investigation (July 8th)

Huntsville Police have arrested 26 yr. old Druvante Trenain Love for Murder in the death investigation of 41 yr old Stacy Lashay Pleasure. Love is being booked in the jail at this time.
On July 8th at approximately 9am HPD was called to the scene of a deceased male later identified as Stacy Pleasure, in an open grassy area at the 2700 block of Oakwood Rd. Major Crimes Investigators developed Love as a suspect during the investigation and put out a BOLO for him. Overnight in the early morning hours of July 31st around 1am, HPD Officers on patrol spotted a possible domestic dispute in the parking lot of a motel on University Drive between a male and female. Upon contact, the male later identified as Love, threw drugs on the ground that was later field tested to be methamphetamine. During that investigation an arrest was made on Love for domestic violence and possession of a controlled substance. Major Crimes Investigators were notified of his arrest and a criminal interview was conducted this morning regarding the homicide investigation where he was subsequently arrested on the charge of Murder.
