Police Investigating Shooting Death on Callahan Drive

Huntsville Police are investigating a murder that happened overnight in the 2500 block of Callahan Drive.  The victim has been identified as 29 year old Marcus White of Huntsville.

 

Officers responded to calls of a person lying on the ground around midnight last night.  When they arrived they found the victim dead from a gunshot wound.  Investigators are following up on leads, but ask anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Huntsville Police Department at (256)722-7100.  You can also submit tips anonymously by calling (256)53CRIME, or online at http://www.hsvareacrimestoppers.org/Tip.htm.
