Huntsville Parks & Recreation invites students ages 13-18 to roll into summer fun at the Spin & Skate Teen Jam.
The free event is Saturday, June 13, from 4-7 p.m. at Stoner Park Skating Rink, 3723 Bragg St NW. The event will feature a DJ spinning the hottest tracks while teens enjoy roller skating in a fun, high-energy atmosphere.
“Spin & Skate Teen Jam is all about creating a fun space where teens can come together and enjoy summer,” said Dorianne Johnson Superintendent of Recreation for Community Services. “With school out, events like this give teens something to look forward to and June thirTEENth is the perfect time to hit the rink and have fun.”
Teens can bring their own skates or take advantage of on-site rentals on a first-come, first-served basis. Those needing rentals are encouraged to arrive early. Concessions will be available for purchase from local food vendors.
The event is open to all skill levels, whether teens are seasoned skaters or stepping onto the rink for the first time.
