American jobs
America has 5.7 million job openings. That’s close to the record number of openings reported by the Labor Department since it started tracking in 2000. The U.S. had an all-time high of 5.9 million openings last July.
The Solar Market
The U.S. solar market added 2,044 megawatts of capacity in the first quarter of 2017, according to the U.S. Solar Market Insight Report. Total installed capacity hit 44.7 GW, enough to power more than 8 million homes.
