Suspect in Brook Manor Avenue Triple Shooting Apprehended in Georgia

Brian Simpson, 38 of Huntsville, was arrested in Conyers, Georgia and is currently awaiting extradition back to Huntsville. He faces charges of Murder, Attempted Murder, and Assault 1st degree.
The charges stem from a triple shooting at a home in the 3000 block of Brook Manor Avenue on May 31. Officers responded to reports of shots fired around 5:00 p.m., and found three people with gunshot wounds. One of the victims, Ladarius Turner 26 of Huntsville, died a short time later. Injuries to the other victims were not life-threatening.
Simpson was arrested on July 1 in Conyers, Georgia on unrelated charges. He is expected to be extradited back to Huntsville in the coming weeks. Investigators are not releasing any additional information at this time.
