City advances plans for new parking deck near The Orion Amphitheater
November 20, 2025The City of Huntsville is taking key steps toward construction of a new parking deck to support The Orion Amphitheater and the growing MidCity District. The City approved a $129,750 engineering services contract with Amiri Engineering for geotechnical work, construction materials testing and ADEM reporting, as well as a $985,061 design services agreement with Chapman Sisson Architects for the deck’s architectural design.
