City of Huntsville offices to close for Veterans Day

City of Huntsville municipal offices, including Municipal Court, will close Friday, Nov. 10, for Veterans Day. The exception is Public Transit, which will offer service Friday but not on Saturday, Nov. 11.
All City offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13.
- Garbage Collection: Residential service will not be affected.
- Animal Services: Closed Friday but will reopen Saturday.
- Parks & Recreation: All facilities closed Friday but will reopen Saturday.
- Public Safety: Essential police and fire personnel will remain on duty throughout the holiday.
