Arrest Made Following Shooting on 7th Avenue

The Huntsville Police Department has charged 34 year old Sadrick Cawthorn following a shooting on 7th Avenue today.
Officers responded to the 3700 block of 7th Avenue around 1:00 p.m. for a call of gunshots in the area. Officers located a victim whose car had been shot multiple times, and a short time later located the suspect, Sadrick Cawthorn. After further investigation officers learned that there was an argument between the two men, and Cawthorn shot the victim’s car multiple times before running from the scene. No one was injured and Cawthorn was charged with Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle.
