The City of Huntsville’s redistricting team presented a proposed redistricting plan to City Council during its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday. The draft plan will be available on HuntsvilleAL.gov/redistricting for members of the public to review. In an effort to reduce overcrowded kennels, Huntsville Animal Services (HAS) is waiving adoption fees on all adult cats and dogs through Saturday, Sept. 11, though some exclusions apply.
