Celebrate ‘The Day That Music Cares’ with Huntsville Music Office, The Recording Academy

Graphic with The Day That Music Caers logo and the words "United by Music, Driven By Purpose"In partnership with the Recording Academy, the Huntsville Music Office is joining music communities around the world for ‘The Day That Music Cares,’ a global day of service organized by MusiCares, the leading music industry charity.

Community members, artists and industry professionals are invited to sign up and serve alongside fellow music lovers for a volunteer service event at the Food Bank of North Alabama on Friday, April 25.

Volunteer shifts are available at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and will involve tasks such as moving boxes, sorting food items and checking expiration dates. Final assignments and details will be shared after registration.

“We’re proud to take part in this global effort to give back,” said Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella. “Music brings people together, and this is a chance for our local creative community to unite for a cause that helps our neighbors and reinforces the spirit of compassion.”
