District 1 Town Hall Meeting Recap from October 16

The October 16 town hall was an important opportunity for community updates. The agenda covered recycling support provided by Operation Green Team at City-sponsored events and community cleanups planned in the coming months. District 1 projects were reviewed and progress was discussed on the North Huntsville Library, Berachah Park, and Johnson Legacy Complex. The discussion turned to Traffic Engineering and upcoming District 1 road improvements. Also, the agenda revisited street repaving with Public Works to discuss the progress of Phase 3 improvements. To discuss important items from the Huntsville Police Department Community Relations Officer, Kenny Adams, spoke about the North Precinct Crime Statistics, CCTV, and the Neighborhood Resource Center.
