Huntsville municipal offices closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

HUNTSVILLE, AL – City of Huntsville municipal offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 17, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This includes Animal Services, Parks & Recreation, Public Transit and Municipal Court.

Residential garbage collection will be delayed by one day the week of Jan. 17-21. Please place your can at the curb on your normal delivery day and Public Works will pick it up as soon as possible.

Essential police and fire personnel will remain on duty throughout the holiday.
