Dunk your principal, cool off on an inflatable waterslide and celebrate the start of the new school year with the Back-to-School Bash.
The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) and Huntsville Parks & Recreation, in partnership with Free 2 Teach, are again teaming up to host this free end-of-summer party on Saturday, July 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jaycee Community Building, 2180 Airport Road.
Dozens of vendors will share information on how to ensure a successful school year. Other activities include a petting zoo, free sports physical by HEALS, live music by DJ Lashay B and much more.
“The start of a new school year will be here before you know it,” Police Chief Kirk Giles said. “This is a great event for our youth as they get ready for the start of a new academic year or, in some cases, their first school year.”
