Is your yard worthy? Put your skills to the test with District 1 Summer Landscaping Challenge

The deadline is fast approaching to participate in Council Member Devyn Keith’s second annual A Cut Above District 1 Summer Landscaping Challenge.

If you or someone you know in the City’s first district deserves to be recognized for their residential landscaping skills, be sure to enter the contest by Monday, July 31. Winners will be selected for one of three titles: Best Landscaping, Most Captivating Floral Display or Best Curb Appeal.

“A Cut Above is designed to not only highlight our homeowners but also bring the community together,” Keith said. “As the summer comes to a close, let’s celebrate by showcasing all the great things District 1 has to offer.”

To submit your property for consideration, complete the form on our website. Those who receive awards will take home prizes and a complimentary yard sign designating their title.

Winners selected by a committee of City leaders will be contacted in mid-August. The City Council will recognize each homeowner at a public meeting later that month.
