Searching for a fun way to keep the kids active during spring break? Registration for Huntsville Parks & Recreation’s spring break camps opens Monday, Feb. 9.

Registration for full-day and specialty camps is open to Huntsville City School students in grades 1-6. Camps will be held March 16-20.

Registration links can be found on the respective Day Camp and Specialty Camp pages.

Hosted at Huntsville Parks & Recreation facilities across the city, the camps combine sports, arts, games and outdoor fun in a safe, structured setting. Campers will build skills, make friends and stay active all week long.

“Parks & Recreation is excited to offer fun, engaging and safe programs for families during school breaks,” Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett said. “Kids get to enjoy their time off from school and parents get peace of mind with programs that are reliable, accessible and affordable.”

The cost for full-day camps is $50 per week, with a discount rate of $30 for each additional child in the same family. Half-day art and sports camps are $25 for the first child and $10 for each additional child. Specialty basketball, pickleball and STEM camps are free.

Spots for each camp are limited. Online registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 9.
