City of Huntsville offices to close for Christmas holiday
December 22, 2025City of Huntsville municipal offices will close Thursday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Dec. 26, for the Christmas holiday. This includes Animal Services, Parks & Recreation facilities and Municipal Court. Public Transit (Orbit and Access) will be closed at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, and remain closed Thursday. December 18, 2025The City of Huntsville approved two contracts for roadwork projects in the first phase of the 2026 fiscal year resurfacing budget. Grayson Carter & Sons Contracting LLC was awarded the bid for residential street resurfacing for $2,925,660.
