City of Huntsville reinvests opioid settlement funds to fight substance abuse

The City of Huntsville approved funding from opioid settlements to two agencies to continue the fight against substance abuse. Wellstone will receive up to $3 million (with no more than $1 million per year starting in the 2028 fiscal year) as it constructs a 16-bed mental health crisis facility.
