The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has arrested a juvenile in connection with a shooting that left one juvenile dead and another injured Sunday morning. On Sunday, Sept. 6, around 10:15 a.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Mount Vernon Road in reference to two shooting victims. When they arrived, they located two juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately provided medical assistance until Huntsville Fire & Rescue and HEMSI arrived. [more]
