Parks and Recreation Spotlight: Lakewood Community Center

Have you been to the Lakewood Community Center located at 3601 Kenwood Drive?

This Center utilizes two gyms that hosts numerous freeplay basketball sessions throughout the week, including a women-only block on Wednesdays. Lakewood also has an outdoor paved walking trail, playground, pavilion and outdoor tennis courts.

Starting October 17 – November 10, Lakewood will be having youth tennis classes for ages 5-12 years, on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 4 – 5 p.m.  Classes are only $4.00 each.

Lakewood Community Center and the Huntsville Police Department are hosting a Trick-or-Treat Halloween party on Halloween from 5-7 p.m. The party will include lots of safe Halloween fun and plenty of candy!
