Friday, May 5 is a fun spin on working out, with our first Cinco de Mayo Dance Party from 5 p.m.-10 p.m. at Butler Green at Campus No. 805. Register before 6 p.m. to be eligible for door prizes and then break a sweat while talking a 45 minute Zumba class, 45 minute Salsa lesson and then dancing the night away with a live DJ!

To wrap up the festivities, the Mayor’s Bike Ride will start at Big Spring East by the Downtown YMCA on Saturday, May 6. There will be different bike vendors and groups to help with bike maintenance, bike safety, helmet fittings and information on how you can bike in the community. Join Mayor Tommy Battle as he pedals down Church Street and leads the pack for a family friendly 3-mile bike ride through Downtown Huntsville.
