City Council approves rezoning of Harris Farms for planned housing development

The Huntsville City Council approved the rezoning for the Harris Farms development in north Huntsville, clearing the way for developers to move forward with design plans. The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) is investigating a shooting that left two men dead early Sunday morning. On Sunday, July 19, just before 1 a.m., HPD officers responded to a shooting at a business in the 600 block of Blake Bottom Road. The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged a Huntsville man in connection with the overdose death of an 11-year-old child.
