HPD Investigators seek information on murder suspect

The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) is asking for the public’s assistance for information about the whereabouts of 27-year-old Deonte Shavon Shelton. Major Crimes Unit Investigators have obtained murder and robbery warrants for Shelton following a shooting incident at 4116 Newson Road on Thursday, September 30 at 12:17 p.m. Shelton is accused of shooting and killing the victim, 54-year-old Tyron Williams, following a verbal altercation between the two at an apartment complex.
